Bamburgh
The original Armstrong Cottages were built by Lord Armstrong to house the workforce renovating Bamburgh Castle in the late 1800s. In the 1990s the original Armstrong Cottages became listed buildings and, as part of a restoration project, new houses were built in a style sympathetic to the original cottages.
